Our House for rent in Normandy
We offer for holidays and weekends a family house minutes away from the centre of the picturesque village of Arques‑la‑Bataille, near Dieppe in Upper Normandy (Seine‑Maritime). The village has two bakers, a butcher, greengrocer, mini-mart, bar-tabacs and cafés. The house has a terrace and large garden with a view of Arques’ ruined castle. It sleeps up to 7 people in one twin bedroom and two double bedrooms plus up to 4 children in a playroom/dormitory in the newly-converted attic.
The house has central heating throughout, a large, fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and utility room with washing-machine and tumble‑dryer, sitting-room with open fire, bathroom with WC and 2nd WC.
The shops, restaurants and bustling Saturday market of Dieppe are only 10-15 minutes away by car.
Beaches, golf, fishing, gardens, the forest of Arques, country walks, historic buildings, cycling, riding, bathing, sailing and water sports are all nearby. Rouen with its famous cathedral and museums is within an hour by car or train.
The house can also be reached easily by car from Calais, Boulogne and Le Havre.
Linen, cots and highchairs are available by arrangement.
Non-smokers preferred. No Pets.
